Henry Noel Rivera

Godwin, NC: Mr. Henry Noel Rivera, age 54, of Joe Bud Lane passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh with his family by his side. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson. Following the visitation the family will be at the home of Stephanie and Brandon Stancil, 937 Eugene Jernigan Road, Dunn, NC 28334.

Henry was born on May 15, 1971 in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Marie Lord Rivera; his grandmother, Rita Ostrander; and his step-son, Anthony Wayne Poole. Henry worked for S. T. Wooten Construction Company for 3 years. He enjoyed hanging out in his barn listening to his rock and roll music and spending time with his grandkids.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Rita Hall Rivera; step-children, Amanda Wood and husband, Roy, Stephanie Stancil and husband, Brandon, Brooke Hull and husband, Garrison; grandchildren, Alexis Henderson, Colby Joyner, Payton Wood, Branson Stancil, Christina Hull, Brady Stancil, Ainsley Hull; father, Jose Rivera; sister, Carrie Castleberry; brother, Dan Rivera; and many nieces and nephews.
