Mr. Glenn Edward Allen, age 81, of NC Highway 210 passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield with his family by his side. Funeral Services will be held-3:00 Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Pastor Eddie White as well as family. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Four Oaks.

Mr. Allen was born on January 2, 1944 in Johnston County to the late, Zebro “Bud” and Dora Evielee Jones Allen. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Durwood Allen and Donnie Allen. He retired after over 30 years from the Town of Smithfield. He was a good and simple man with a big heart. His family could depend on him for anything and what you saw is what you got. He was a Ford man who loved to operate tractors. Mr. Allen will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Survivors include his children, Patricia Allen, Tammy Whitley and husband, Terry, and Garry Allen and wife, Lynn; grandchildren, Candice Allen, Damien Allen and wife, Liz, Brandon Whitley, Jonathan Whitley and wife, Carly, Brandon Dominguez, Heather Martin, and husband, Randy, and Sarah Moore and husband, Zach; 12 great grandbabies; sisters, Sherian Johnson and Shirley Stone; brother, Tick Allen; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM prior to the service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
