Coats, NC: Mr. Gary Eugene Howard, age 76, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Golden Years Nursing Home in Falcon. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Mr. Howard was born in Virginia, on September 8, 1948, to the late William Howard and Lovelean Howard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Cook Howard. Mr. Howard was a retired residential electrician.

Survivors include his children, Tammy Wessel and husband, Corey, Sandra Moore and husband, Gene, and Penny Howard; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sister, Wendy Blakenship; brothers, Lynwood Howard, Thomas Howard, and Terry Howard; several nieces and nephews.
