Coats, NC: Mr. Franklin “Sandy” Lee Stone, age 68, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. The family will receive friends from 1:30PM-2:45PM, Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Erwin Chapel PFWB Church in Erwin, NC. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00PM in the Church Sanctuary. Rev. Danny Helms will officiate. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Mr. Stone was born on August 14, 1958 in Harnett County, NC. He was preceded in death by his father, John Junior Stone, step-father, Tommy Pope, and a step-sister, Karen Ferguson. Mr. Stone was a retired small engine technician. He loved to fish, work in the garden, and could repair most anything he set out to accomplish. He attended Erwin Chapel PFWB Church.

Survivors include his wife, Regina Stone; mother, Lida Mae C. Pope; sister, Brenda Lucas Johnson and husband, Mark; brothers, Terry Carl Stone, and Ricky Stone and wife, Jeanne; step-sister, Shelia Aldridge and husband, John; step-brother, Randy Pope and wife, Bonnie; step-brother-in-law, Danny Ferguson; many loving nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers, and are receiving friends at other times at the home.
