Raleigh, NC: Mrs. Evelyn Johnson Jones, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A Graveside Service will be held 2:00-PM, Sunday, May 17, 2020, at Raleigh Memorial Park in Raleigh, NC.  Rev. Fred Carraway will officiate.  In accordance with current NC COVID19 Guidelines, only 50 people are allowed in the cemetery for the graveside service.             Mrs. Jones was born on June 10, 1925, in Wake County to the late Theodore and Myrtle Hamilton Johnson.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Eugene Jones, and daughters, Dianne Slade and Carol Jones. Mrs. Jones was a graduate of Cary High School and was a homemaker.              Surviving include her daughters, Becky Mann and husband, Charles and Angela Wilson and Fiancé, Roger Dunn; grandchildren, Adonna M. Pipkin, Dr. Charles Ashley Mann, Jason E. Mann, Brian J. Slade, Jessica R. Wilson, and Alexandra M. Wilson; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Lilli, Isabella, Samantha, Bryan, Davis, Camden, and Ryker; many nieces and nephews.                 In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to Transitions Hospice, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
