Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Edna Lou Massengill Grice, age 82, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at her residence. The family will receive friends from 1:30PM-2:45PM, Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00PM, in the Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel. Rev. Walter Gaskins and Pastor Scott Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens, Smithfield, NC.

Mrs. Grice was born on August 4, 1943 in Johnston County, NC, to the late James Coy Massengill and Margie Lawhorn Massengill. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Stacy Willard Grice, and a daughter, Alisha Kay Grice. A graduate of Four Oaks High School, she received her teaching degree from East Carolina University. Mrs. Grice retired from Benson Elementary School. She was a homemaker, and a member of Antioch United Methodist Church. She loved her family, and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include her daughters, Kim Allen and husband, Carius, and Crystal Toole and husband, Brandon; grandson, Christian Toole; sister, Shirley Broughton; brother, Owen Massengill; several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the many caregivers for their love shown to Mrs. Grice.
