Dusty Dalton Mercer

Dusty Dalton Mercer, affectionately known as Bubba, was born on February 21,1990, in Plant City, Florida. He passed away peacefully after a brief illness, surrounded by family, at Wake Med on September 30, 2025.

Dusty led a fulfilling professional life as a diesel technician, where he was respected for his commitment and expertise across the globe. Beyond his work, Dusty was known for his loving and warm-hearted affection towards anyone he met along the way. He left a memorable impression on anyone he met. Dusty was a devoted and affectionate husband and father. He embraced the simple joys of life, taking pleasure in mechanics, and watching YouTube and TikTok videos. A self-proclaimed "adventurer," he found comfort exploring new places with his family and had a profound love for animals and the great outdoors.

His cherished memories will be held close to heart by his wife, Brittany Mercer (Costello), their son Jameson Thomas Mercer; parents Dusty and Shanna Mercer; in-laws Gene and Connie Costello; sister Kylee Mercer (Aaron); nieces Ava, Noraa, and Nova; and Aunt Nikki Harrison (Randy); as well as his beloved friends and brother Brent Consenza and his CCS family.

Dusty's memory will forever be cherished by those who loved him, and his spirit will live on in their hearts forever.

Arrangements for Celebrations of Life in NC and GA will be determined and announced by the family.
