Coats, NC: Mr. Donald Wade “Don” Turlington, age 72, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at his residence. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM, Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at Coats Baptist Church in Coats, NC. Rev. Rick Shepherd and Rev. Chris Turner will officiate. Burial will follow in Harnett Devotional Gardens, Dunn, NC.

Mr. Turlington was born in Harnett County, NC on February 20, 1954, to the late Wade Albert Turlington and Blanche Mae Weaver Turlington. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Tony Turlington. Mr. Turlington worked at Erwin Mills in Erwin, NC, and also Tyndall Electronics in Coats, NC. He was a member of Coats Baptist Church. Mr. Turlington enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting guns, and field trials with his Beagles. He also loved to metal detect and communicate with others on HAM and CB radios. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Debbie E. Turlington; sons, Chad Turlington and wife, Jamie, and Brian Turlington and wife, Angelina; grandchildren, Barrett Turlington and Mason Turlington; nieces and nephews.

Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Coats Baptist Church PO Box 297, Coats, NC 27521.
