Diana Rhodes McCarty

Willow Spring, NC: Mrs. Diana Rhodes McCarty, age 72, of Willow Spring passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026 at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh. Funeral Services will be held-2:00 PM Monday, January 19, 2026 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Jessie Brock. A Private family burial will follow the service.

Mrs. McCarty was born on December 27, 1953 in Wake County to the late Jimmie and Liddie Jane Stanley Rhodes. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Curtis McCarty and niece, Jamie Rhodes Hernandez. Prior to retirement, Mrs. McCarty was a devoted employee of First Citizens bank. She was a selfless person that thought of others before herself and a devoted Christian with a big heart. She enjoyed her pets which she called her “babies”. She loved her family, especially her son and grandson. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her brother, J.R. Rhodes; grandson, Curtis Jordan McCarty; daughter-in-law, Lauren Allen; step-daughter, Angie McCarty; nephew-in-law, Juan Hernandez; and nieces, Kalie and Angelina Hernandez.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
