Smithfield, NC: Ms. Dawn Marie Mitchell, age 46, of Smithfield passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at UNC Johnston Health of Smithfield surrounded by her loving family. A Memorial Service will be held-2:00 PM Sunday, March 1 2026 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Full Obituary to follow.
