Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Daryl Gregory Smith, age 59, of King Mill Road passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC surrounded by his family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Friday, July 24, 2026 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Jason Johnson. Burial will follow in Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery in Four Oaks, NC.

Daryl was born on June 3, 1967 in Bell County, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Smith and his brother, Robert Anthony Fairbanks. Daryl was a Gold ICAR Certified Automotive Technician with CarMax. He loved spending time with his family, friends, but his greatest joy in life was his grandchildren. Daryl was a member of West Clayton Church of God in Clayton. He enjoyed watching NHRA Drag racing and loved traveling to the beach and mountains.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Kim B. Smith; son, Gregory Smith and Kimberly Britt; grandchildren, Granger Smith, Ella Smith, Savannah Pittman, Madi Pittman, Ellie Pittman; mother, Frances B. Baker; brothers, Mike Smith and wife, Renay, and Robert Smith and wife, GiGi; several nieces and nephews; beloved pet, Rip Smith.

The family will receive friends at the home and they appreciate your thoughts and prayers during this time.
