Danny Ray Pleasant

Coats, NC: Mr. Danny Ray Pleasant, age 57, of Red Hill Church Road passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020. A Private graveside service will be held.           Mr. Pleasant was born on December 8, 1962 in Harnett County to the late Velton Rayvon and Shirley Mae Matthews Pleasant. He was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Pleasant. Mr. Pleasant was a current employee of Asplundh for 39 years and attended Coats High School.            Surviving include his sisters, Diane and husband, Frankie Matthews of Bunnlevel, and Renee Barbour and husband, Tony of Angier; nieces and nephews, Bridget Pollard and husband, Keith, Casey Townsend and husband, Brandon, Maranda Evans and husband, Mike, and Austin Barbour; special aunts, Betty Sue Privott and husband, Leon of Elizabeth City, Rebecca Tart of Benson, and Patsy Williams and fiancé, Dale of Coats.           The family will be receiving friends at Mr. Pleasant’s home.             Arrangements by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC
