Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Danny Joe Massengill, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at home surrounded by his loved ones. Graveside Services will be 4:00PM-Friday, May 29, 2026 at Faith Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Four Oaks, NC. Rev. Billy Nowell will officiate. Visitation will follow the graveside service.

Danny Joe Massengill was born in Johnston County, NC, on July 19, 1950 to the late Ernie Rufus Massengill and Madie Allen Massengill. He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Danny Joe loved to live life to the fullest. He enjoyed NASCAR Racing and spending time with family and friends. Danny Joe will be missed deeply by all that loved and knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Violette Bardawil; children, Danny Alan Massengill and wife, Stephanie, Amy Messer and husband, Ricky, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
