Cynthia "Cindie" C. Hill

Benson, NC Ms. Cynthia (Cindie) C. Hill, age 56, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at her residence. Memorial Services will be held 2:00PM Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home, Benson. Rev. Johnny Peterson will officiate. 

Cindie was born on July 9, 1967 in Johnston County, NC to Laylon McLamb Barnes and the late J.E. Hill.  She was also preceded in death by her dad, Danny Lee Barnes; step-mother, Pam Barnes; brother, David Barnes; aunts, Joyce Hill Hawley and Ann Jernigan, along with several uncles. Cindie worked as a Med Tech in long term care until recent health challenges.  Cindie loved arts and crafts along with blue grass music and her trips to the beach.

Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Hill and fiancé, Dominic; mother, Laylon Barnes; step-mother, Polly Barnes; brother, Danny Barnes and wife, Sandy; nieces, Madeline and Kennedy Barnes; best friend, Marie Buck; step-siblings, Candi Long, Garth Lanning, Karen Neighbors, Matthew Elliot; cousins who were like sisters, Renee Kempka, Lisa Lucas, and Jamie Baucom; two aunts and several cousins.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
