Cheryle “Sherry” Lee Greeson Tryner
November 18, 1952 – April 17, 2026
Sherry was called home to be with Jesus on April 17, 2026. She was surrounded by her loving family. Sherry was a loving mother, sister, and her most proud title, Nana. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00AM – Thursday, April 23, 2026 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Chris Searles. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A Private Committal Service will be held Thursday afternoon in the Johnston Memorial Church Cemetery in Angier.
Sherry was born on November 18, 1952 in Champagne, Illinois. Ever since she was little, she loved the sunshine. She would soak in the sun and swim all day if she could. Her favorite things were lighthouses year-round and snowmen during Christmas time. If you asked anyone that knew her, they would tell you that she had never met a stranger. Sherry was the most selfless person you would ever know and spent her entire professional career in service to others. She put others first and was driven to be the best mother and Nana she could be. Sherry loved unconditionally and loved her children and grandchildren more than life.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Walter LeRoy and Lova Mae Greeson; brother, Michael Greeson; and son-in-law, Jason Partin.
Sherry is survived by her children, Shanon Partin(Jason [Deceased]), Sean Tryner(Saundra), and Brooke Tryner(William); sister Kelle Greeson(Debbie); grandchildren, Taylor Crossfield(Cody), Nathan Tryner, Austin Partin(Olivia), Bailey Tryner, Mason Tryner(Kennedy), Dillon Partin, Wyatt Tryner; and great grandchildren, Carson Crossfield, Carter Crossfield, and Hudson Partin.
The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time.
In lieu of flowers; the family asks that donations be made to the SECU Hospice House, P. O. Box 1376, Smithfield, NC 27577.
