Charles Oliver Woodall, Jr.

Wilmington, NC: Mr. Charles Oliver Woodall, Jr., age 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2024 at Lower Cape Fear Life Care in Wilmington surrounded by his loving family. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held-11:00 AM on Friday May 10, 2024 at Roselawn Cemetery in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Olsen. 

Mr. Woodall was born on September 11, 1945 in Harnett County to the late Charles Oliver Woodall, Sr. and Mary Louise Stewart Woodall. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Mike Johnson. Charlie will always be deeply loved and will forever be remembered in our hearts. 

Survivors include his wife Betsy Johnson Woodall of Wilmington; son, Todd Woodall and wife, Jennifer of Wilmington; daughter, Amy Woodall Baxley and husband, Brian of Hampstead; granddaughters, Emily, Molly, and Karly Woodall; grandsons, Carson and Bryson Baxley; brother, Ronnie Woodall and wife, Doris of Benson; sister, Debbie Woodall Jones and husband, A.J. of Benson; sisters-in-law, Susie Johnson Chandler and husband Will of Benson and Linda Boykin Johnson of Greensboro; and several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service at Roselawn Cemetery.

Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
