Charles Shepard Lloyd

Benson, NC: Mr. Charles Shepard Lloyd, age 83, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Rex UNC Hospital in Raleigh, NC. Memorial Service will be 2:00PM-Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Rev. Tim Williford will officiate.

Mr. Lloyd was born on June 28, 1938 in Wake County, NC to the late Joseph Roy and Muriel Hagwood Lloyd. He was retired prison guard and attended Full Gospel Tabernacle in Fuquay Varina, NC. Mr. Lloyd was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Charles Lloyd.

Surviving include his wife of 22 years, Margaret Allen Lloyd; children, Sharon and Joe Nusser, Pam and Charlie Smith and Donna and Neal Slohn; step-daughter, Rose Beasley; brother, Ben Lloyd and a sister, Faye L. Stephenson; many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC and other times at the home.
