Charles Hubert Ivey

Coats, NC: Mr. Charles Hubert Ivey, age 95, of E. Hamer Street passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be held 3:00PM - Sunday, October 9, 2022 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Coats. Officiating will be Rev. Paul Cecil. Burial will follow in Coats City Cemetery.

Mr. Ivey was born on July 4, 1927 in Harnett County, NC to the late Troy Felton and Henrietta Hayes Ivey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Roberts Ivey, son, Charles Ivey, Jr., grandson, Curtis Patterson, sisters and brothers, Bettie Wood, Edgar Ivey, E. H. Ivey, Bertha Jones, Beulah Stewart, Geneva Williams, Lida Ivey, Felton Ivey, Myrtle Norris, and Hazel House. Mr. Ivey retired after 45 years of service from Burlington Mills in Erwin.

Surviving include his daughters, Joan Patterson and husband, Pete of Coats, Carletta Ennis and husband, Don of Coats; grandchildren, Lee Patterson and wife, Amy, Chris Ennis and wife, Christy, Adam Ennis and wife, Emilee, Elizabeth Ivey; great-grandchildren, Cameron Ennis, Kate Ennis, Everette Ennis, Spencer Ennis, Emma Patterson, Cara Patterson; numerous nieces and nephews; special family friends, Lonnie and Sally Dorman of Coats.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 2:00PM until 2:45PM prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats and other times at the home of Joan and Pete Patterson, 121 Bennett Road Coats, NC 27521.
