Charles Franklin "Chuck" Gilbert, Jr.

Washington, NC: Mr. Charles Franklin “Chuck” Gilbert, Jr., age 69, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at his residence.  A Memorial Graveside Service will be held 2:00PM-Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Roselawn Cemetery in Benson, NC. Ms. Beverly Cratch will officiate.
Mr. Gilbert was born on August 18, 1953 in Harnett County to the late Dr. Charles Franklin Gilbert, Sr., and Myra Lee Gilbert.  Mr. Gilbert was a retired residential and commercial welder.  He enjoyed sailing, NASCAR, and hunting. 
Survivors include his sons, Matthew Gilbert and wife, Emily of Waxhaw, NC, and Marshall Gilbert of Stanley, NC; grandchildren, Archer Gilbert and Grayson Gilbert; sister, Amy Gerard of Charlotte, NC; several nieces and a nephew.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service on Saturday at Roselawn Cemetery in Benson, NC.
