Dunn: Mr. Brock Ty Stahl, age 25, passed away tragically on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. The family will receive friends from 1:30PM-2:45PM, Sunday, August 30, 2026 in the Tabernacle at Central Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 3:00PM in the Tabernacle at Central Baptist Church 6050 Plain View Highway, Dunn, NC 28334. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Pastor Cameron Cloud and Rev. James Neal will officiate.

Brock was born in Orange County, NC on September 23, 2000. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Nowell, and father-in-law, Joseph Allen “Joey” Maples. Following high school, he served our country in the US Army. Brock worked very hard for his family, and loved Emma and Beckett like no other. They were so looking forward to the soon birth of their second child, Sadie. He enjoyed mechanic work, and could fix most anything. Most recently he was proud to graduate with a degree in Cyber Security. He attended Central Baptist Church in Dunn, NC. Brock was employed with West Farms Wood Products in Newton Grove, NC.

Survivors include his wife of 5 years, Emma Rae Maples Stahl; son, Beckett Allen Stahl; mother, Tammy Nowell Moore (James); father, James Edwin Stahl, II. (Julie); grandparents, James Edwin Stahl (Kristy) Barbara Jean Stahl, and Clara Donahoe (Jim); siblings, Levi Stahl, J.B. Stahl, Erin Dawd, and Christina McCellan; mother-in-law, Robbin Maples, sisters-in-law, Olivia Maples, and Jordan Maples; brother-in-law, Wesley Maples; grandparents-in-law, Ray and Shelia Davis, and Margie Mullikin; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
