Brian Anthony Weber, age 81, of Clayton, NC, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, at 2:55 a.m. Born on August 16, 1944, in Flushing, NY, to the late Anton and Helen Weber, Brian lived a life defined by hard work, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to the people he loved.

Brian dedicated 27 years to the Nassau County Police Department, where he rose in rank and earned the respect of colleagues through his integrity, steady presence, and commitment to service. During his law enforcement career, he graduated from the 135th Session of the FBI National Academy on December 16, 1983, at the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. An achievement reserved for a select group of leaders in policing. After retiring from the department, he began a second career in North Carolina’s furniture industry, working with Haverty's, WA Homes, and Home Comfort before retiring at age 70.

Outside of work, Brian embraced life fully. He loved skiing, traveling, and never missed a chance to cheer on his grandchildren at their sporting events. A devoted Carolina Hurricanes fan and longtime season ticket holder, he rarely missed a game. Brian also had a deep love for dogs, and his loyal companion Boots was always by his side, sharing countless quiet moments and companionship that brought him joy every single day.

Brian is survived by his wife of more than 61 years, Margaret Weber; his brother Wayne Weber and wife Laura; his daughters Christine Livingston (Parrish Livingston) and Dawn Weber; his grandchildren Madison Nygard (Justin Nygard) and Cody Lanphere; and his great‑grandchildren Declan, Lakelyn, and Riverlyn Nygard. He is also survived by his nephews Michael, Anthony, and Stephen Weber. Preceded in death by Paul B. Parker, Jr., his brother‑in‑law.

Brian was known as one of the most generous men you could ever meet, always willing to help, always giving more than he took, and always putting others first. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the values he instilled, and the steady, dependable presence he offered to everyone who knew him. He showed love through action through hard work, loyalty, and showing up and those gifts will echo through generations.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Kitty Askins Hospice House for the exceptional care, compassion, and dignity they provided in Brian’s final days.

Brian will be cremated through Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. In accordance with Brian’s wishes no services will be held.
