Benson, NC: Mr. Bobby Ray Moore, age 85, of 12608 NC Hwy 50 North formally of Panama City, Florida died Tuesday , December 31, 2019. A visitation for family and friends will be held 6:00PM to 8:00PM Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson. On Thursday, January 9th, 2020 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM there will be a visitation for family and friends at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Panama City, Florida. A Graveside Service with military honors will be held 2:00PM on Friday, January 10th, 2020 at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida. Officiating will be Rev. Rufus Massengill.             Mr. Moore was born September 30, 1934 in Johnston County to the late Herman and Mary Helen Rose Moore. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Moore; brothers and sisters, Jack Rose, Ed Moore, Tommy Moore, Wilson Moore, Lois M. Allen and Carol M. Braswell. He was a retired auto body repair mechanic and a US Army Veteran. Survivors are son, Malcolm Moore and wife, Jill of Willow Spring; grandchildren, Lindsey and Justin Mulcahy and Heidi Moore; great-grandson, Tristen Mulcahy; sisters, Ann Meachum of Colorado and Martha Massengill of Pensacola, FL; several nieces and nephews.
