Billy Lee Taylor

Coats, NC: Mr. Billy Lee Taylor, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn. 

Mr. Taylor was born in West Virginia on May 5, 1944. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Cecil and Lena Damron Taylor, and his brothers, Bud Taylor and Art Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a Police Officer and retired as a Detective with the Hampton City Virginia Police Department. He loved to fish, gardening, and spending time with his family. 

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Christie Paulson, three sons; sister, Maxine McKeand; and many nieces and nephews, special dog, Booger.
