Bill Joe Parker

Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Bill Joe Parker, age 68, passed away at his residence on Sunday, July 20, 2025. The family will receive friends from 1:45PM-2:45PM, Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Stones Creek Advent Christian Church 343 Wood’s Crossroads Road, Benson, NC 27504. The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00PM in the church sanctuary. Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson, NC.

Mr. Parker was born on January 30, 1957 in Johnston County, NC to the late Willie Elbert and Mary Jane Adams Parker. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra Oakley Parker, and his siblings, Nancy Langdon, Joanne Langdon, Dorothy West, Leon Elbert Parker, Johnny Mack Parker, and James Edward Parker. Mr. Parker retired as a supervisor from the North Carolina Department of Transportation with 30 years of service. He loved hanging around the local country stores, fishing, and he never met a stranger. Bill Joe was a simple man, and was a member of Stones Creek Advent Christian Church, Benson, NC.

Survivors include his wife, Dona E. Parker; daughter, Cami Parker Faircloth; granddaughter, Caroline Faircloth; step-son, Tracy Slade and wife, Sarah, and Brandon Slade; step-grandchildren, Tracy Slade, J.C. Slade, and Colton Slade; sister, Lorene Lee; many nieces and nephews.
