Bettie Jean Hayes Byrd

Coats, NC: Mrs. Bettie Jean Hayes Byrd, age 95, of Abattoir Road passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Senior Citizen Village in Dunn. Private Services will be held.

Mrs. Byrd was born on May 25, 1926 in Harnett County, NC to the late Richard M. and Alma Weeks Hayes. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Carl Byrd; a nephew, Larry Hayes; and a niece, Bonnie Lynn Hayes Liles. Mrs. Byrd was a homemaker.

Surviving includes her nephew, Billy Hayes and wife, Sharon of Coats; several great nieces and nephews.
