Angier, NC: Mrs. Ann Coats Wiggins, age 77, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC, surrounded by her loving family. The family will receive friends from 1:45PM-2:45PM-Friday, June 26, 2026 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. Funeral Services will be held 3:00PM-Friday, June 26, 2026 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Dr. Paul Rowland, Jr., and Rev. Chris Hilliard will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery, Benson, NC.

Mrs. Wiggins was born on February 23, 1949 in Harnett County, NC, to the late Lacy and Mable Langdon Coats. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Raelynn McGee, son-in-law, Wesley McGee, and a brother, Benjamin Coats. Mrs. Wiggins was a retired Radiologic Technologist for 42 years, and worked with Benson Area Medical Center for 37 years. Following retirement she was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking, making crafts, and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She attended Berea Presbyterian Church, Four Oaks, NC, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, Young Disciples Teacher, Elder, and directed Christmas Plays and other programs in the church.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Johnny Ray Wiggins; children, Sonya Gooch and husband, Jimmy, Jenny McGee, and Jonathan Wiggins and wife, Cheryl; grandchildren, Dylan Gooch, Erica Lacombe and husband Benjamin, Hannah McGee, Sarah McGee, and Dawson Wiggins; great-grandchildren, Melody Lacombe and Reya Lacombe; sister, Carolyn Knight; several nieces and nephews.

The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers, and are receiving friends at other times at the home.
