Mrs. Alma Phillips Strickland, 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. The family will receive friends from 3:00PM-3:45PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC. Funeral Service will follow at 4:00PM in the Funeral Chapel. Rev. Adam Charville will officiate. Entombment will follow at Four Oaks City Cemetery.

Mrs. Strickland was born June 30, 1931, in Dunn, N.C., to the late James Claude Phillips and Gertrude Edge Phillips. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Willis Edgar Strickland and her eight siblings.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family, and many friends.
