Im Bonnie Barbour Honeycutt and I grew up with the Champion boys. The photos posted showed so much of his life. The one thing that struck me was the fact that his FAMILY was his life. Much love and prayers from the Barbour family to Alfred and family. RIP old friend

To the Champion family I am so sorry for your loss . AL Champion taught me what work was at the age of 13 . He was a teacher and someone I looked up to and wanted to be like him. My strong work ethics that I have still to this day was taught by AL. I just want to say thank you and I truly will miss you but I will never forget you. Rest In Peace my friend.
