My condolences to the entire family. I have not seen Joyce in a number of years but she and Dwight were our neighbors when I was growing up and her children were young. She has always been a cheerful person and I know her entire family will miss her.Love and PrayersCharlene Langdon Lee

Memories of summers my younger siblings and I spent on Aunt Joyce and Uncle Dwight's payroll barning tobacco and enjoying her delicious noon meal which included homemade biscuits, homegrown vegetables and the works. Aunt Joyce loved zinnias and grew a zinnia garden alongside her vegetable garden for years. She was also an accomplished seamstress. On my last visit to her home she had just finished making several blouses from the same pattern and same white material. I took a bouquet of zinnias from my garden to her on this occasion and thanked her for sharing with me her passion for growing zinnias. She enjoyed working and gave every task her all. I have never heard her say an unkind word about anyone. Aunt Joyce was an exceptional woman.
