Coats, NC:  Rev. Agnes Baker Douglas, age 91, of 1987 Crawford Road died Saturday, September 9, 2017, at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Funeral Service will be 3:00PM Sunday, September 10, 2017, at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson.  Officiating will be Rev. Kenneth Boyd and Rev. Hollis Fedrick.  Burial will follow in Erwin Memorial Park in Erwin.

            Rev. Douglas was born September 28, 1925 in Johnston County to the late James Robert and Laura Jane Phillips Barefoot.  She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Hubert C. Baker and Grady Clifton Douglas; a grandson, Johnny Baker; sisters, Ruby J. Byrd and Clara Ellen; a brother, Buddy Barefoot; and a dear friend, Lela Barefoot. Rev. Douglas was a retired minister and was a member of Coats Church of God.

            Surviving include; sons, Clarence Colan Baker of Coats, Dolan Baker & wife, Teresa, of Princeton; step-daughters, Faye Douglas of Sanford and Goldie Graig & husband, Chas, of Richmond, VA; step-sons, Rev. Ralph Douglas & wife, Cindy, of Sanford and Paul Douglas of Sanford; sister, Ila Baker of Coats; brother, Shelton Barefoot of Dunn; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.

            The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 1:00PM - 2:45PM Sunday prior to the service.

            Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to SECU Hospice House, P. O. Box 1376, Smithfield, NC  27577.
