Rose & Graham Funeral Home began serving families in Benson and the surrounding communities on August 22, 1905. J. H. Rose purchased R. F. Smith’s furniture and undertaking supply business on East Main Street, and in 1919 Willie C. Woodall joined the business and the company was known as Rose & Woodall. In the 1930s, the owners moved the funeral home to a house on West Church Street, until 1941, when Hiram Rose bought its current location at 301 W. Main Street. In 1953, Jimmie Rose joined the business and in 1974, a second location was built in Coats. In 1980, Winn Graham joined the business and the name was changed to Rose & Graham Funeral Home.
At the present time, Rose & Graham Funeral Home has nine employees. There are five full-time funeral service licensees who can assist families with funeral arrangements as well as pre-planning. We also have one licensed funeral director, three licensed insurance agents, and funeral assistants. Our insurance agents are licensed to write life insurance policies as well as assist families with filing insurance claims and changes in beneficiaries as needed for pre-planning or other reasons.
Our professional and caring staff is committed to your family and to our community to treat you as we would want to be treated; compassionately and fairly. We subscribe to the highest standard of funeral service by providing quality and affordable services to the families of Johnston, Harnett and surrounding counties. We are grateful for the confidence that the public has placed in us and pledge that we will work diligently to keep that trust
